John Dale is a qualified Piano Tuner Technician currently serving Reading, Berkshire and surrounding areas, including Bracknell, Maidenhead, Newbury and Henley-on-Thames.
John has been with Pianos all of his working life, starting out working with a Piano cabinet restorer. He studied for three years at the excellent Newark Musical Instrument College receiving a Diploma Qualification in Piano Tuning, Maintenance and Repairs. He has also received training at the C. Bechstein factory in Germany.
Although an independant tradesman, John works regularly for leading Piano specialist firms in London, North Hampshire and Dubai.
John looks after the pianos for one of the major private schools in Reading as well the leading music school in Berkshire. He has tuned at many major venues and theatres in London including the Royal Albert Hall, The Southbank Centre and The Old Vic. As well as some of the major recording studios such as RAK studios and Warner Music.
When not out on the road tuning and carrying out repairs John restores instruments from his workshop at home and always undertaking some fascinating project.
